Founded in 2010 as the Quezon Killer Whale Swim Team in Lucena City, Quezon, the Philippine Killerwhale Swimming Association has grown into a nationally recognized high-performance swimming program. As the team expanded to multiple locations across the country, it adopted its current name to reflect its broader mission of developing Filipino swimmers for elite-level competition.

Under the leadership of founder and Head Coach Virgilio De Luna, the program has steadily expanded, reaching more coaches and athletes across the country. With a strong emphasis on elite training standards and long-term athlete development, Philippine Killerwhale continues to produce competitors driven to carry the Philippine name into international arenas.
