As one of the few athletes in the Philippines to take on extreme open-water distances, she stands as living proof of human endurance.
Now officially part of the VIEW Ambassador Team, Ruiz brings not only her impressive open-water credentials but also years of genuine trust in the brand. Her steadfast partner through countless kilometers has been the VIEW V580ASA—a staple in her bag, renowned for its unmatched optical clarity and trusted by swimmers who understand that vision beneath the water is something altogether different from sight above it.
Still riding the waves of her Visayan Seas achievement, Ruiz is already setting her eyes on new waters. For her, the ocean has never been the finish line—it remains, stubbornly and thrillingly, a frontier calling with promises of records yet unbroken, distances yet unconquered, and stories yet unwritten.
